Each year in the weeks leading up to the MLB All-Star Game, there is a much-anticipated unveiling of the latest All-Star uniforms. This summer is no exception, and not only are we seeing a new uniform design for the 2023 All-Star Game, but also a new uniform technology that will be implemented across MLB in 2024.

MLB and Nike unveiled the 2023 All-Star Game uniforms Friday for this year’s Midsummer Classic at T-Mobile Park in Seattle on July 11. As in recent years past, the uniforms represent the city in which the All-Star festivities are taking place. The 2023 jerseys feature a print that blends elements of Seattle’s neighboring ocean, forests, topography and the movement of air.

As the home team, the American League squad will be wearing light teal jerseys, while the visiting National League team will be wearing dark navy jerseys. The jerseys themselves will represent the debut of Nike’s latest uniform innovation, Nike Vapor Premier. The new technology is engineered to improve mobility, moisture management and fit.

Vapor Premier’s breathable, lightweight, high-performance fabric is made from at least 90% recycled polyester yarns. It also gives the jersey 25% more stretch and allows it to dry 28% faster, with moisture-wicking Dri-Fit ADV technology keeping players cool. Nike body-scanned more than 300 baseball players to find the ideal fit, which is more athletic and form-fitting than previous models.

Beginning next season, the new chassis will make up every MLB uniform, including home, road, alternate and City Connect uniforms.

Authentic and replica 2023 All-Star Game jerseys, as well as All-Star caps from New Era and socks from Stance, are available for purchase at MLBShop.com, Nike.com, the Nike app, Fanatics.com, NewEraCap.com, Stance.com and the MLB Flagship Store in New York City.
