Portable Pitching Mounds Should Be A Buy-It-Once Purchase!
Portable pitching mounds are expensive. And as such, I have never understood why I have seen more junk than I care to admit. At trade shows, state, and national coaches clinics, I see new brands of some slick-looking products but all I have to do is spend a few minutes to see how bad that too many of these products will perform & fail in only a season or two of moderate to heavy use!
An Old-School Business Making Practice & Game Mounds
For over 15 years, I have offered one brand. An American family-owned company headed by a retired pro pitcher who began making portable mounds back in the early 1990’s. And what else to they make?…. NOTHING (unless you count softball pitching mats and the racks to transport multiple mounds for large complexes). In other words, a specialist who has been in this business since they opened their doors!
