A friendly competition between Ohio and Louisiana over one of their favorite quarterbacks has returned for a second year.
The Joe Burrow Foundation announced Wednesday details about the From the Bayou to Greater Cincinnati: Let’s Do Good competition.
The foundation is partnering with Ohio-based Where I’m From Apparel to sell Cincinnati and Baton Rouge-inspired apparel and accessories adorned with Burrow’s name and face, including t-shirts, mugs and stickers.
Where I’m From Apparel will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Joe Burrow Foundation, which helps Ohio and Louisiana families struggling with food insecurity and childhood mental health issues. The competition runs through June 6.

More than 4,600 items were sold during last year’s challenge, and Cincinnati fans won over Louisiana fans, with more than 2,800 purchases, according to a release.
“We are excited about bringing back our ‘Bayou to Cincinnati’ Challenge,” Amy Floyd, executive director of the Joe Burrow Foundation, said in a release. “Last year we raised nearly $70,000 as fans from both Cincinnati and Louisiana joined the cause to support the Foundation. We expect that total to increase this year to help even more families in both areas.”
